Review and Comparison Methodology

Research-based guides
Most current articles are educational guides comparing stated materials, dimensions, features, charging, warranties, retailer policies, price ranges, and public feedback. They are not hands-on reviews unless clearly identified.
Hands-on reviews
A hands-on review identifies the product, testing basis, how it was obtained, evaluation period, and limitations. Criteria may include build quality, materials, controls, noise, cleaning, charging, storage, instructions, accessibility, value, and intended use.
Safety screen
Coverage considers material transparency, cleaning requirements, design features relevant to safer use, electrical information where applicable, and manufacturer instructions. No product suits every person.
Recommendations
Recommendations state who a product may suit, who may wish to avoid it, meaningful tradeoffs, and alternatives. Affiliate availability is not a substitute for quality.
